My first days in Paris

My first days in Paris

On Wednesday, I arrived in Paris for my 4 month internship.

I knew it was going to be hard and difficult to leave all my loved ones behind, but I didn’t know it was going to be this hard.

First of all, I am really annoyed with myself that I can’t do more at the moment. I still need to learn how the systems work, how the team works,…. . I want to work and I want to learn. Second of all, up until today, I was alone at the hotel, my fellow intern from my school only arrived today, so I was all alone in this new environment, which I didn’t handle well.

I had two days of already, so I got to discover Paris a bit, and I must say: I really loved it and I remembered why I chose Paris.

Of course, the Eiffel Tower is the Parisian symbol. But to be honest, don’t go visit it. I went to the Eiffel Tower on Saturday, and to Montmartre on Sunday, and I must say: The Eiffel Tower looks much more magical from Montmartre that from Champs-de-Mars.

That’s all for today,

Stay tuned for more on my Parisian adventure,

Lots of love,

Elise,
